Teksupport for the Community

Basketball

Teksupport has long been a supporter of sport for fun, fitness and providing young adults with a great start in life. We have recently been given the opportunity to support the Chelsea Gulls Big V player, Nick Alexandrou. We would like to wish all of the Big V team all the best for the season.

Cycling - Team Teksupport

Teksupport has an active cycling contingent. We regularly go out for social rides, at a pace that can be enjoyed by families or slightly quicker to cover more ground.

2009 Around the Bay in a Day. From left to right are Debbie Jackson (in the blue), Nick Secombe, Richard Ogley, Tim Secombe, Rob Secombe, Rick Moon. It was Tim and Rick's first rides around the Bay, and both completed it well. Tim may have been the youngest rider for the Sorrento-Melbourne leg that year as he made it into the 12-year-old cutoff with 3 days to spare!

We completed the 2008 Around the Bay ride from Sorrento to Melbourne on a very comfortable October morning. The weather was perfect with light winds and cool temperatures. The photo on the right was taken at the start at Sorrento and from left to right we have Nick Secombe, Rob Secombe, Richard Ogley and Frank Moretto. It was Nick's first time at the 100 km ride and he even got up Mount Martha without getting off! Fabulous effort.

At the finish line at Alexander Gardens. Frank took the photo, but he is there! We all had a fantastic ride, and even broke some personal bests.

We entered the 2007 Around the Bay ride from Sorrento to Melbourne and despite a stiff northerly wind we both finished! The picture on the right is Richard and Rob at the start of the 100 km ride. We certainly didn't look that fresh at the finish.
